For Sale - Robbie aka “Le Messager ” by Headwater from Alma’s Angel.

Approx 16.2hh 7yr old bay TB gelding.

Robbie is a straight ott who retired sound after his last start on the 30/11/25, we just believe his heart is no longer in racing and would benefit from a change of discipline.

In the time Robbie has been at our stable, he has been a joy to be around and a stable favourite. Robbie has never bucked, reared or spooked while with us. He is not phased by our buggies, cars or constant roo, bunny and stable cat traffic along the track.

He is known to be quiet, sensible and kind although is still a fresh ex racehorse and still carries some of those high strung characteristics at times although this will only get better with time. He is still learning to stand quietly when mounting rather than being walked while mounted.

He has currently had a handful rides off the track which he was very well mannered and just aimed to please the entire time. I frequently bareback him in a halter from his paddock around the property. He has a beautiful light canter which feels very balanced and comfortable. His trot is light and airy although still learning to hold the contact consistently in this.

I have popped him over a few jumps, which he seemed to enjoy and took to it quickly. He was very bold although still finding his feet and balance. He is a very cuddly boy who adores attention and affection.

He would thrive being with “his” person. Loves the beach!

Easy to float, trim, shoe.

Good for dentist and chiropractor

Although he is quiet and sensible, he is still a straight off the track and would benefit an experienced home and rider.
